I’m looking for some new wheels for my calibra. Any idear’s ?

Chrome
White
Gold

Had a look on internet under 17′s some nice ones there Like the ones called vault. also whats the stud patten?

Answer:

crystal vaults – not a big fan of chrome rims.. but if you must there is a lot better out there. but at least 18″!! personally 19″ FTW!

16V cali is 4×100 stud pattern which is very common
V6/turbo cali are 5×110 which is a painin the ass.. but ya get that..

Go for 18′s at least……..they suit a Calibra beautifully, 19′s look even hotter

As Bass mentioned, heaps of choices for 4×100 PCD.

I’ve had 20′s on mine (I’ll have to PM you some pics)……just squeezed in, with 30mm lowered Eibachs, If you get the correct offset, the problem with this size has got more to do with the front suspension strut spring cup, not the gaurds.

Question:

Got some new tyres on my cali today and they are awesome so smooth but just wanted an idea on psi for front and back.

They put 32 in the front and 35 in the back. What do you other guys have yours at.

Also do you know where i can get some Located rings i think there those little plastic cabs that sit inbetween the wheel an the hub ? Apprantly mine are missing thats why i have vibration tru the steering wheel all the time and the steering is like a brick shit house. not happy jan!

Answer:

For a 16V Calibra with stock or up to 18′s – 34/36 up front, 32/34 rear. Then check for wear charateristics after about a month, that’ll determine whether you need to go more or less.

Unless you have seriously low profile tyres (like my 20′s with 30 series) going overboard with psi is not required, doing this might give you ‘slightly’ improved go, but it’ll also give you a very bumpy ride and usually causes ‘middle tread’ wear, by convexing the tread face.
