Calibra standard door pod speaker size?

havent actually taken notice and measured.
what is the standard speakr size in the front doors? and is there space to go bigger without modifying the door cards?
Ive noticed that the boot is rather shallow, so my original plan of 2 15’s is gonna be a tight squeeze..its gonna be a custom setup though.
Answer:
fronts you’ll fit 6″ easily, rear you’ll fit 6.25″ easily. i have 2 12’s in the boot, you wont fit much more in.. you could do 15’s if you really need the extra 3 inches.
If you take the spare wheel out, use that cavity for a nice sub……
It’s probably the best place to mount one, both for looks and sound quality/effect
In my Calibra, I’ve installed Alpine 5 and 1/4″ splits up front on custom made bases, inside the door cards, but as stated above you can fit up to 6 and 1/2″ speakers.
Only problem with these, is that the hole on the door card will be too small and to get the best sound out, it would be best to enlarge them, otherwise you could just mount the speakers on the outer face of the door cards
